Welcome to GetLocal Services. We are a marketplace platform that connects customers (“Customers”, “Users”, “you”) with quality home service professionals ("Pro Members"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines how GetLocal Services, LLC and its agencies and subsidiaries (collectively, "GetLocal", "we", or "us") collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile application and services ("Site", “App”, or “Services”). 

Information We Collect 

Information You Provide 

• Personal Identification Information: We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and address when you sign up for our services, sign up for a newsletter or other communication, or contact us directly. 
• Service Request Information: When you request a service through GetLocal, we collect information necessary to fulfill your request, including details about the service needed and your location. 
• Sweepstakes, Contests, and Promotions: We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (collectively "Promotion") that may require providing Personal Information to register. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules that govern that Promotion, which may contain specific requirements of you, including, allowing the sponsor of the Promotion to use your name, voice and/or likeness in advertising or marketing associated with the Promotion. Information You Provide About An External Party 

• Referrals 

If you choose to use to tell a friend or family member about the Services, we may collect their name and email address. We will send them a one-time email inviting them to visit our Services. We store this information only to send this email and to track the success of our referral program. We do not use this information for any other marketing purpose unless we obtain consent from that person, or we explicitly say otherwise. Please be aware that when you refer them, your name and/or e-mail address may be included in the message sent to them. 

• Ratings 

The Services may display profiles of Pro Members who participate to provide Services. These profiles may include the service professional's name, and ratings and reviews about the service professional provided by their customers. Service professional profiles may be visible to all users of the Services and on booking affiliate/ partners' and Pro Member websites. 

The Services may provide you with an opportunity to give ratings and reviews regarding GetLocal, Pro Members or service requests. If you provide a rating or review, we may post your first name, the initial of your last name, and the name of your city/state along with your rating or review on the service professional's profile on the Services and on booking affiliate/ partners' websites. In addition, Pro Members may use your ratings and reviews, as well as this personal information about you, in their own marketing materials. 

Information Collected Automatically 

• Log Data: We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our site. This log data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. 

• Cookies: Our website uses cookies to collect information and to improve our service. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer.

• To connect you with Pro Members who will fulfill your service requests. 
• To improve customer service and respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently. 
• To personalize your experience on our site 
• To present tailored content to your interests. 
• To process transactions. 
• To send periodic communication including but not limited to emails and SMS messages regarding your order or other communications. 

Sharing of Information 

Your information may be shared with Pro Members in your area to facilitate the provision of requested services. We may also share your information with third-party service providers to help us operate our business, administer activities on our behalf, or provide services to you. We ensure these third parties agree to keep this information confidential. Any Personal Information we collect may be provided to our professional advisors, including accountants, auditors, and lawyers, when reasonably necessary for our professional advisors to perform services for us and give us appropriate advice.
